EG498Capstone Design I
Course Prerequisites ToolSNHU EG498 has 3 direct prerequisites, with 37 courses in its complete prerequisite tree, and is required by 1 other course.
Undergraduate · 3 credits
In this course, students will work in teams and apply the tools of systems engineering, project management, and engineering design to solve a complex engineering problem. Students will develop a proposal, document system requirements, present a preliminary design, and complete a detailed design of their solution. Throughout the course, students will use their technical communication skills in interim reports and design review presentations. In the development of a solution, students will integrate engineering analysis, standards, and feasibility testing. Students will document the work of the design process in a comprehensive report.
