This course will introduce fundamental concepts, procedures, and computations in instrumentation and measurement systems. Students will use common transducers, circuits, and programming with LabVIEW® to collect data and apply statistical analyses to that data. Through the engineering design process, students will implement a system that incorporates multiple sensors and meets established requirements. Students will develop skills in teamwork, graphical communication, and problem-solving. By the end of this course, students will gain an understanding of both instrumentation control and the reporting of findings from analysis of measurement data.
