This course will introduce the fundamentals of the engineering design process. Throughout the course, students will gain experience using the engineering design process, both individually and in teams. Students will solve well-defined technical problems, including topics in sustainability. Students will use computer-aided design, 3-D printing, and embedded programming to develop working prototypes. Students will develop technical communication skills, with which they will document their design solutions and present their work.
