In this course, students will explore how chemical structure and energy changes determine the behavior of matter. Students will predict acid-base behavior from a range of quantitative identifiers. Students will also explore energy change and physical processing through the laws of thermodynamics. The ability to name and identify structures of basic organic molecules will be gained as well.
