In this course, students will explore the world through the disciplines of physical and human geography. They will learn to interpret physical, political, and thematic maps, analyze geographic data, and compare the world’s major regions. Students will also examine how human activities affect and are influenced by their environments in different regions. The course will highlight the role of globalization in shaping regional interactions and global interdependence. Using knowledge and critical thinking, students will apply geographic concepts to analyze issues and develop an understanding of the diverse world in which we live.
