In this course students will design immersive fictional worlds using environmental storytelling and iterative design. Students will explore cultural, historical, political, and scientific elements that shape compelling game settings. Students will apply critical thinking and creativity to build believable civilizations, analyze narrative structures, pitch world creations to peers and stakeholders, and refine their worlds through feedback. Students will develop rich, interactive environments that enhance player engagement.
