This course provides an introduction to the analysis and design of analog and digital communications systems. Topics include analysis of signals in time and frequency domain, amplitude, frequency, and phase modulation techniques. Additional topics include analysis of communication channels and channel distortion, analysis of binary channels and calculation of error probability in transmission of information.
