This introductory course provides an overview of the economy as a whole. Students will explore key macroeconomic concepts such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), inflation, unemployment, monetary and fiscal policy, and international trade. Through authentic examples and the application of economic models and indicators, students will gain an understanding of how events and economic policy decisions impact individuals, businesses, and governments.
