In this course, students will be introduced to networking and network architecture, expanding their knowledge by applying practical skills for securing and managing modern computer systems and networks. Through a combination of theoretical concepts and practical exercises, students will explore topics such as network protocols, security threats and defenses, and compliance standards. Students will learn how to appropriately implement cybersecurity prevention strategies while responding to incidents and eradicating threats. An emphasis will be placed on the critical practices of cybersecurity, equipping students with the skills needed for modern technology challenges.
